Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity
The Cybersecurity program at USF focuses on protecting systems, networks, and data from cyber threads. Students learn how to defend against cyberattacks, analyze risks, and secure sensitive information. The program includes hands-on labs, internships and real-world experience to prepare students for cybersecurity careers. P.S, USF has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity (CAE IA/Cybersecurity), co sponsored by the National Security Agency(NSA) and homeland security.
Bachelor of Science in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Management
This program focuses on both the technical and business sides of cybersecurity. Students learn how to protect systems and data while also understanding how cybersecurity fits into a business environment. Topics include network security, risk management, cloud security, and security policies. The program also teaches how to analyze threats and respond to real-world cyberattacks. P.S, graduates in this degree program can pursue roles such as cybersecurity analyst, security auditor, or cybersecurity manager.
Masters of Science in Cybersecurity
The USF Master of Science in Cybersecurity is an advanced program that focuses on protecting systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Students learn how to identify vulnerabilities, analyze risks, and design secure systems. The program includes hands-on learning in areas such as software security, network security, and emerging technologies like Internet of Things(IoT) and AI security.
